Advantages in using Teledyne Storm Products:
- Engineered solutions
- Low minimum orders - as few as 100' of cable
- Fast delivery - weeks not months
- Unlimited constructions - traditional copper or hybrid (copper/fiber)
Copper and high strength alloys, tinsel wire, magnet wire, fiber optics (single mode, multimode, steel tubed), fluid and vent tubes, among others.
Spiral and longitudinal stripe, numbering, lettering, sequential markings.
Fluoropolymers (FEP, PFA, Tefzel, etc.), X-Link, Expanded (foam), Halogen Free, Polyolefins, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, TPR, TPE-O, Polyurethane, Tape Wrap, PVC, RoHS and WEEE compliant.
RFI and EMI tapes and braids (serve or interwoven). Utilizing flat and round copper, stainless steel, bronze, aramid fibers, and textile, among others.
Additional construction enhancements are available depending on your application.
- Strength members - Aramid fibers such as Kevlar and Vectran, Polyester, Nylon, Fiberglass Rods, and Stainless Steel
- Waterblocking - Silicon, Hot melt products, Water swellable tapes and fillers
- Controlled Buoyancy
- Coil Cord

Many winch systems apply an extreme force on the external jacket layer while retracting, deploying payload or during deployment. Teledyne Storm's trademarked KAPTAMID cable captivates the aramid layers to prevent cable core elongation, and tears or wrinkles in the cable jacket.

A highly engineered cross-linked thermoplastic elastomer that replaces traditional rubber. This insulatiing and jacket material remains flexible down to -40°C and heat stablized rated at 1000 hours at 150°C replacing traditional rubber cables at a significantly lower cost.

Teledyne Storm understands the requirements to gain superior retractability and memory. With our internal custom cable manufacturing, we can convert most linear cable constructions into retractable coil cords.
Teledyne Storm has the ability to combine any functional element (power, video, control, pneumatic, differential digital, SM and MM optics, etc.) within the single cable jacket.
